I was thinking how I could keep this year’s Valentines Day cards simple super, so I went with just watercolour Valentines cards. That way my charge’s could decorate them how ever they see fit.
Make sure you follow my Valentines board on Pinterest for more ideas. Don’t forget to save the pin for later.
I cut our watercolour paper into smaller sections, that way they could either be stuck onto a card or they could simple be sent as they are.
For my cards I added washi tape around the edge to create a clean boarder, then three strips of tape in the centre. I painted hearts all over it. Once they were dry, I removed the tape and wrote in the three unpainted lines in the centre. Finally I stuck them to a card using different washi tape.
BB decided that he was going to paint the whole page with multiple colours, then drew hearts and pictures on top once it had dried.
