Easter Egg Symmetry Busy Bag

It has been a while since I did a busy bag.  I had originally intended to do this as a big activity, but while planning on how to do it I decided it would actually make a fun little Easter egg symmetry busy bag.

Make sure you follow my Easter board on Pinterest for more ideas.  Don’t forget to save the pin for later.

To make your own Easter egg symmetry busy bag you will need:

  • Small container*
  • A5 card
  • Beads
  • Washi tape
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Jewels

*I used a plastic craft container that I got from Hobbycraft.

You can add loose parts to this busy bag.  Just make sure that what you do put in there has an even number.

On a couple of pieces of A5 index cards draw an easter egg outline with a line draw down the centre.

Either you or your little one can set up one side of the egg with a pattern.  The other person has to simply copy that pattern using the lose parts.
