Toys for learning and play are really important for infants to toddlers. From newborn it’s all about sensory stimulation – they’ll be able to visualise objects from around 8-10 inches away but they won’t yet be able to see things in full colour. By six months your baby will be investigating the relationship between ’cause and effect’, they’ll be itching to sit up and like a sponge, they’ll be taking in the entire world around them. From 12 months onwards, your baby will become a very curious toddler; they’ll need encouragement and support to take their first steps along with activities to help them absorb ideas and interact with others around them.
Fisher Price products were always favourites in our household when we were little kids, and it’s no surprise that times haven’t really changed, the toys have though! Here’s my favourite collection of kit to inspire, teach, encourage and entertain your child from the very beginning.
